Flat Fee Tax Relief - BBB Accredited

The Flat Fee Tax Service team has had one vision since its beginning more than a decade ago – to help Americans, from coast to coast, deal with the aggressive collection policies of the State/IRS tax agencies. As we know, being saddled with tax debt can create great stress, depression, and anxiety. Tax debt can very easily become overwhelming when an individual tries to take on these collection agencies by themselves while being at risk of garnishments or property seizures (Tax Levy). Flat Fee Tax Service puts its experience to work, understands how to deal with IRS problems, and takes the burden away from you.

1. Tax Levy - IRS Levy  (Garnishment and Bank Release)

When you are unable to pay a tax debt, the IRS may order a tax levy (garnishment) that will seize your wages, bank account, or other assets. An IRS levy will allow the Agency to legally and forcibly seize what you have worked for. An IRS levy will absolutely cause serious financial hardship for you. The IRS's objective when ordering a tax levy is to collect some money and close a file. Should you have an IRS tax levy, you need to think seriously about a tax settlement.

2. Tax Lien (Release and Removal)

The IRS may send you a bill for a tax debt explaining exactly how much money you owe to them, including a demand for payment. If you neglect, ignore and fail to respond to or any IRS Notice, or completely refuse to pay the amount requested, the Agency may file a public document called a “Notice of Federal Tax Lien." If you are unable to pay the amount in full, a Tax Lawyer from our tax services company can help negotiate a tax settlement, which can also result in the tax lien being released and removed.

3. Non-Filed Tax Returns (Failure to File a Tax Return)
The previous six (6) years of your tax returns must be filed. If you have not filed the last six (6), you are not compliant with the IRS. If you are non-compliant, you will not be able to resolve or settle your tax debt. Non-Filed tax returns (unfiled tax returns) will result in the IRS creating a Substitute for Return (SFR) for each non-filed year. We can fix tax problems like a Substitute for Return.

4. Currently Not Collectible (CNC) - IRS Hardship

If you owe less than $10,000, being placed into Currently Not Collectible (IRS Hardship) status could very well be your best IRS settlement. You are not restricted by how much your tax debt is. Getting the IRS to place you into IRS Hardship status is complicated. There are many factors involved. The bottom line is that the IRS will cease enforcement once you're are in CNC status.

5. IRS Offer in Compromise (Tax Settlement)

If you owe more than $10,000, have your last six (6) years of tax returns filed, and are unable to pay your tax debt, we recommend that you submit an "Offer in Compromise IRS." An Offer in Compromise (IRS OIC) takes approximately 10 to 12 months to complete. During this time, the IRS will leave you alone. A tax settlement obtained through the IRS Offer in Compromise program can be paid in installments.

6. Installment Agreement (IRS Repayment Plan)
If you are not eligible and qualified for an IRS Offer in Compromise (OIC) or eligible to be placed into Currently Not Collectible (CNC), our IRS problem solvers will negotiate the smallest repayment plan possible. Our job is to either settle with the IRS or see to it that your IRS payment plan is the smallest possible. You may not have to accept the payment plan that the IRS is trying to dictate to you. Our IRS problem-solvers want you to keep as much of your money as possible.

7. Penalty Abatement (Waive IRS Penalties)

The IRS will assess massive penalties for pretty much any misconduct regarding errors with your tax returns. The most common penalties issued are a result of failing to file a tax return, filing a return late, and filing inaccurate information. IRS penalties can quickly mount up and cause serious financial difficulty.

 8. Innocent Spouse

Many couples file taxes jointly. When you choose to do this, the IRS will generally hold both parties accountable for any issues with tax reports or tax payments on the account. There are occasionally circumstances where both parties are not entirely open and truthful with one another and one files incorrect information unbeknownst to the other. If you find that your spouse has done this and the IRS is now holding you jointly accountable, we can help to prove your innocence with our innocent spouse tax relief. Our tax professionals can also help individuals who were aware of their spouse’s tax avoidance or other fraudulent activities but were too afraid to challenge their actions due to abuse.
